Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited graduate school with a Master's degree in clinical social work, clinical psychology, mental health counseling or related human services field. Primary responsibilities include: Responsible for providing counseling to primary and secondary victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment. Advocates on behalf of victims/survivors of sexual assault through crisis intervention, SAVE/after clinic, volunteer training, and community involvement .to ensure organizational excellence. Coordinate the subcontracted Hotline services with 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares. Must have personal automobile and meet agency required levels of auto insurance and approved driver status. Must be able to complete a level II background screening and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law.
Skills / Requirements
Licensure: Licensure not required; Licensed or license eligible preferred. Experience: Strong counseling skills. Knowledge of dynamics and impact of sexual violence. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
