Education: High school diploma or GED certificate. Experience: Two years clerical and clerical and customer services experience, skilled in using an electronic medical record or similar database, excellent telephone etiquette. Primary responsibilities include: Functions as access point for participants and staff on the telephone served in the community. Schedules appointments for home and community-based clients and providers. Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs the call to the appropriate person. Completes calls and confirmations of appointments as assigned. Verifies client insurance, demographics, and other pertinent data for scheduled intakes and assessments. Must be able to complete a level II background screening and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law.
